Understanding the EASI Programme
What is EASI?
The EASI programme is designed to raise awareness about ethical business practices through an interactive format featuring animated video content, case studies, practical scenarios, and exercises.
The EASI programme:
- Acts as a comprehensive training program to raise awareness about ethical business practices.
- Gives large organisations the chance to train their suppliers in ethical business practices.
- Offers SMEs the opportunity to attain accreditation as ‘Ethically Aware’ suppliers.
Who can benefit?
The EASI programme caters to companies seeking to train their suppliers, with a special focus on executive managers of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who are grappling with increasing ethical demands on their businesses and seeking actionable solutions.
The concept revolves around large companies (Sponsor Organisations) leveraging the EASI programme to train SMEs within their supply chains, driven by the imperative of good governance. Trained SMEs receive accreditation as “Ethically Aware,” a designation recognised by various supporting large organisations.
Upon completion, organisations receive a two-year accreditation certifying their Ethical Awareness, endorsed by several large companies, including the Sponsor Organisations. Suppliers also have the option to pursue accreditation independently of a Sponsor Organisation.
